Merit Scholarship

The UB/Towson MBA Merit Scholarship Fall 2007

We are pleased to offer a merit scholarship opportunity for first year UB/Towson MBA students. Receiving this award is a tremendous honor and the recipients should be proud of their accomplishments. This scholarship is competitive and merit-based.

All UB/Towson MBA scholarships require the submission of the Merit Scholarship application, an essay pertaining to the appropriate topic (please see application for further instruction), and your resume. The application must be signed and dated. All scholarships require acceptance of enrollment in The UB/Towson MBA program. The individual scholarship criteria is described below in further detail.

How do I apply?
Submit the UB/Towson MBA Merit Scholarship application and essay.  Be sure to sign and date the application. The UB/Towson MBA Scholarship Committee will review each application based on academic accomplishments and essay submissions.  Applications must be mailed to the address below and received by August 1st, 2007 for consideration.

The UB/Towson MBA Program Merit-based Scholarship
New students enrolling in the MBA program who have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale are eligible for this scholarship.  Scholarship recipients must take at least two (2) MBA courses per semester.  Continuation of the scholarship for the second semester is contingent on a first semester GPA of 3.25 or higher.

How much is the scholarship?
The award covers the cost of in-state tuition for one course per semester ($1,684 per semester).
